Tour summary:
Day 1: Bishkek - Sary Chelek Lake
From Manas International Airport you will be collected by your guide and then you will be transferred to the Lake of Sary Chelek. Many years ago there was a gorge with a mountain river was blocked after the stone fall that was triggered by the earthquake, and the water collected right in the gorge. These days we have a brilliant chance to enjoy its splendor. It is about 2.5 km wide and 75 km in lenght! The altitude of this mountain lake is 1873 m . a. s. l. This celebrated is situated far away from busy cities and it is really worth to visit it. Sary Chelek is one of the most beautiful lakes in Kyrgyzstan!
Day 2: Sary Chelek - Arslan bob
Breakfast is at 8 o'clock in the morning. Transfer from Sary Chelek to Arslan Bob forest by car. Along the whole way to the forest you will see plenty of picturesque places that will amaze you by their beauty. Arslan Bob is one of the most spectacular places in Kyrgyzstan, and one of the biggest walnuts bearing forests in the world. Here are the trees with two meter thick trunks; some of them reach 30 meters in a height. They grow wild on the slopes of the mountain ranges of Chatkal and Fergana, along river banks at an altitude of between 1000 and1800 meters a. s. l. Arslan Bob Village lies itself at the altitude of 1700 m. above sea level. You will spend this night in the guesthouse of the local family.
Day 3: Arslan bob
Today you will have time to explore this place. You will go for hiking to enjoy the beauty of this place and to see a waterfall there. Then you can continue walking around or just relax in a calm atmosphere of this forest.
Day 4: Arslan bob - Jalal Abad
We will start our drive to Jalal Abad town after fortifying breakfast. You will have drive to this town along a mountain road that will have many amazing views on the way. The region of Jalal - Abad has played host to travelers for thousands of years. It was the trading centers on the one of Kyrgyzstan's main branches of the Silk Road. Overnight is in the guesthouse.
Day 5: Jalal Abad - Osh city
Your breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock. Then we will start to the second biggest city Osh. It is said that the city is older than Rome because it is more than 3000 years old. You will visit our Asian bazaars in the city. These bazaars are the most famous in Kyrgyzstan. You can make hundreds of pictures there and after that you we will visit sacred Suleiman Mountain that is situated in the middle of the city. On the way to the city we will visit also Uzgen town. There is a Tower and 3 beautiful mausoleums that were built in the 11 century. Overnight stay is in the guesthouse.
Day 6: Osh city - Kazarman village
Today we will drive back to Uzgen in order to cross Pamir Alai Mountains and to drive in the heart of Tien Shan Mountain system. We will drive along stunning mountains and you will have a great chance to enjoy its nature. As soon as we are in Kazarman you will have a dinner and then you will spend a night in a home stay.
Day 7: Kazarman - Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone Castle from the 14th century)
You will be served breakfast at 8 o'clock in the morning after packing your backpacks. Then you will have a transfer to the Great Silk Way Caravanserai of Tash Rabat. You will be carried away by the wonderful surroundings presented through views the wild nature. At the very heart of Tian Shan Mountains, at a height 3200 m above sea level Tash Rabat is located. This structure has no analogue in the world, for the reason that it was made of layered stones, and in addition it was built partly inside the mountain. In total there are 31 rooms that are joined with mazes. The thickness of walls is one meter. In Tash Rabat there are also dungeons for ancient thieves. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. You will spend this night near by the caravanserai in yurts. Yurts are built without nails. It is made of a wooden skeleton, covered with felt coverings.
Day 8: Tash Rabat - Son Kul Lake
Breakfast. Transfer from Tash Rabat Caravanserai to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan Son Kul. On the way lunch will be taken. Son Kul Lake is situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level (it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan), on the treeless plateau. Son - Kul Lake is surrounded by mountains. Kyrgyz nomads and herders of the Naryn region come to the lake to use it as a summer pastureland, but in the mid of autumn they return back to their villages. You will be free to explore and take pleasure in the lake's virgin nature and its surroundings after our arrival. Dinner. Overnight stay is in the yurt camp.
Day 9: Son Kul Lake (3013 m. a. s. l.)
9 a.m. breakfast. This day you will have enough spare time at Son-Kul Lake to get acquainted with nomadic customs and culture and to explore the nature on your own. Optionally, you can ride on a horse alongside the lake's shore, or just relax in the wild, but calm natural atmosphere. Our lunch will be served at 2 p.m. After that you will see also ancient petroglyphs - carvings on the stones. In yurts, national dinner will be served. You will spend the night as nomads do, in yurt.
Day 10: Son Kul Lake - Kochkor village
Fortifying breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock. After breakfast you will be transferred (185 km) to Kochkor village. You will meet a family in the Village of Kochkor that can show you the way of the Kyrgyz national felt carpets production. You even can create your own carpet. With a local family you will have traditional dinner. Night is in the guesthouse.
Day 11: Kochkor village - Konorchek canyons
Today you will be transferred to our famous Konorchek canyons. As soon as we are there we will have hiking in a stunning place of red canyons. This place is completely different from all other mountains in Kyrgyzstan. The canyons are of different shapes that make your hiking so interesting. This is a real paradise for people who like to make pictures.
Day 12: Konorchek
This day will be devoted to the continuation of our hiking in this incredible place. The changeable views during the whole hiking tour will amaze you. You will have a chance to go both along the canyons bottom and then along its top.
Day 13: Konorchek - Chon Kemin
Breakfast. We will go to the place where our driver will wait us. After that you will be transferred to Chon Kemin valley along Boom Gorge. This night you will spend in Kalmak-Ashuu Guesthouse.
Day 14: Chon Kemin - Bishkek
At 8 o'clock you will be served with your breakfast. Transfer from Chon Kemin Valley to Bishkek city is after breakfast. On the way to Bishkek we will stop to visit Burana Tower that is the minaret of 11 century, as well as its open air Balbans (stone warriors) museum. Upon arrival in Bishkek you will have a guided city tour. A farewell dinner is served at 7 p.m. Overnight is in the hotel***.
Day 15: Bishkek - Europe
Your guide will meet you at the hotel at the pick up time arranged previously according to your flight details and accompany you to Manas International Airport.
