Tour summary:
Day 1: Almaty - Issyk Lake - Almaty
Kazakhstan diamond 5 welcomes you in Kazakhstan. When you arrive at the airport, you will be met by our driver who transfers you to the Issyk gorge. The road will pass via the Kuldja tract. In past times, it was one of the ways where traders travelled. Then visit the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "ISSYK" where you can gain some significant information about the history and culture of the Saka period and see a copy of Golden Man and golden items, ancient ceramics, weapon, elements of horse equipment, as well as the model of Saka burial mound. Driving to an altitude of 1756 meters above sea level we will arrive to Lake Issyk which was appeared 10,000 years ago due to avalanche. It created a natural dam of 300 meters in height. Day 2: Almaty - Tamgaly - Almaty
The tour will start by travelling to Tamgaly. We have no doubt you will like it on tours. Om arrival, you will find Tamgaly petroglyphs as one of the oldest and most outstanding monuments of rock art of Zhetisu, which is endangered by UNESCO since 2004. Tamgaly Gorge is located 170 km north-west of Almaty city. This is almost an earliest art gallery, where are portrayed animals and people as well as scenes from the life of ancient people. The total amount of drawings in the main gorge is about 2,000. On the tour you will see solar deities, clowns, soldiers, married couples, pregnant women, multi-figure compositions, scenes of hunting and sacrifice. Most of the petroglyphs belong to the Bronze Age made in "animal" style of Sakas. Return to hotel for night.
Day 3: Almaty - Nur-Sultan
After breakfast, we will transfer to Almaty International airport and departure to Nur-Sultan by local flight. On arrival, you will have the city tour and visit historical center of the city. Visit the Constitution Square, Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan* with the Golden man. Here you will find the largest shopping center - Khan Shatyr. You will walk to the elevator to the top of the Astana-Baiterek monument and see outstanding view of panorama on tours. In the afternoon, you will cross Ishym river and get to the Kazakh Eli Square where you can see the vibrant Palace of Peace and Reconciliation as well as admire the beauty of Khazret Sultan mosque. Night is in a hotel.
Day 4: Alzhir
In the morning, we will learn more about the capital of Kazakhstan. Visit the Constitution Square, Museum of the First President, Congress Hall on tours. Don't miss to visit the National Museum of History of Kazakhstan. In the second part of day, we will travel to Malinovka village where Museum and memorial complex "ALZHIR" is placed. It is Akmola camp for the wives of conspirators of Motherland as one of the largest camps of Soviet Union and one of the three "islands" of the "Gulag Archipelago". The Museum and Memorial Complex of Victims of Political Repression and Totalitarianism opened in 2007. See the "Arch of Grief" as well as two structures "Despair and Powerlessness" and "Fight and Hope" dedicated to the families detached by hard time. There is a tunnel, where on the walls embodied the tragic moments of valedictory with children, unpleasant and biased court of the Three, a prison cell and a punishment cell, assistances to drop into the ether of suppressions.
