Day 1: Bishkek - Belogorka gorge - Bishkek
We are glad to see you on Kyrgyzstan diamond 8. When you arrive at Manas International Airport, your guide will meet you and transfer to the capital city of Kyrgyzstan. You will have the city tour of Bishkek and visit the Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic and other places. In the afternoon, we will drive to Belogorka gorge where you can enjoy by rocky mountain views on tours! It is best for a short hiking tour. Don't miss to capture these moments in your life. Afterwards short hiking tour we will transfer to Bishkek. Night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek - Burana - Kochkor
Today we will visit our Asian Bazaar and then drive to Kochkor village. This is an ideal place where travelers will have a chance to learn more about local life and communicate. Then you will be transferred to Kochkor village. On the route you will visit Burana Tower of the 11th century. In addition, you will learn more that, in past times it was the main road of Silk Road travelers. Here you will find an open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors) dedicated to brave soldiers who died for their Motherland. On arrival to Kochkor. Night is in a homestay.
Day 3: Kochkor - Son Kul Lake
After hearty breakfast, we will travel Son Kul Lake, enclosed by mountains and defined to be the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan, positioned at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. This is a perfect time where visitors can meet Kyrgyz nomads as well as nomadic herders who used to rest and use this area for cattle. You will have an opportunity to enjoy the virgin nature of the lake and its surroundings. Overnight is in nomadic collapsible dwellings - yurts. They are made of a wooden skeleton and covered with felt coverings.
Day 4: Son Kul - Tash Rabat
We are glad to present the next day of driving to the Tash Rabat Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road. It is the Stone Castle from the 14th centur. Tash Rabat is placed at the very heart of Tian Shan Mountains and built of stone blocks inside a mountain. It lies at an elevation of 3200 m above sea level. Entering inside, you will see 31 rooms in the mountain with strong walls of 1 m thick. In ancient times, it was place for culprits. Night will be spent in yurts near Tash Rabat Caravanserai.
Day 5: Tash Rabat - Kochkor
In the morning we will travel to Kochkor village. On arrival, you will have an opportunity to spend time with a family and learn more about our national felt carpet. After getting masterclass, you will make your own carpet with your type of art. See a small handicraft museum and find many examples of silver decorations, coats made of wolfs, horse saddle decorations, carpets and many other things. Rest is in a homestay.
Day 6: Kochkor - Issyk Kul southern shore - Karakol
The tour will start by driving to the celestial Issyk Kul Lake. It is the second largest alpine lake in the world and called "the pearl of Central Asia". This lake is considered to be sacred due to its healing properties which make it not freeze. It is best place for swimming. In the afternoon, we will drive to Bokonbaeva village and meet a local eagle-hunter. He will show you eagle hunting and then you can take photos. The tour will be continued to the famous gorge of Jeti Oguz, Red Rocks where you can see the Broken Heart Mountain. Continue our way to Karakol town. Night is in a hotel.
Day 7: Karakol - Issyk Kul northern shore - Bishkek
The last day will start by travelling Bishek city. Your route will pass along the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake where you can see it from all four wings. On the way, you will visit ancient stone inscriptions found in the 800 B.C. They were made more than 2 000 years ago by shamans. In addition, don't miss to capture panorama view of the Issyk Kul Lake and get unforgettable holidays. Transfer to a hotel for rest.
