Tour summary:
Day 1: Dushanbe
Our driver will meet you in the airport and drive to Dushanbe. Welcome to see you on Tajikistan diamond 6. You will have the city tour and visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. We will walk in National park to make photos of Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world - 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Then travel to see the Central Museum and Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. Visit the Asian bazar. It has colorful goods, fruits, vegetables and other things. Night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe - Norak - Kalai Khum
Today we will drive to Kalai Khum village. On the wat you will see Norak water reservoir that is called Tajik Sea. See the highest point as Shuraba pass (2 267 m) and after drive along Afghanistan border. It is already Territory of Pamir Mountains. In general, the Pamirs have inspired the world's greatest explorers as Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. Then we will drive along natural border - Pyanj River where we can see the system the ocean of white and blue mountains. Overnight is in a homestay.
Day 3: Kalai Khum - Khorog
In the morning we will travel to Khorog. It is the smallest city on the map of the world surrounded by rocky mountains from all four wings. The town was constructed on the confluence of the 3 rivers where Shokhdara river and Ghund river flow into Pyanj river. On the way to Khorog you will meet Pamir people and learn more about their culture. They have blonde hair, fair skin and blue eyes. Very beautiful! Pamirs Mountains are the highest mountains in the world with human population after the Himalayas in Tibet and worth visiting on tours. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 4: Khorog
In the morning you will have a guided city tour where you will start to visit the Botanical Garden surrounded by some gardens. Above the east part of the city at an altitude of 2320m above sea level on the coastal zone of the Shakhdara River is located the famous Pamir Botanical Garden with interesting plants. We are sure it will not leave you indifferent on tours. Visit a local bazar and learn how to bargain. We will visit the main highlights of Khorog and get to know about Pamirian people. Rest is in a guesthouse.
Day 5: Khorog - Langar
We will drive along Tajik-Afgan border to Langar village which is located in in the heart of Asia. The Pamirs are an angle of sky-scraping, snow-capped, celestial mountains, clear blue waters of lakes and rivers, extensive valleys and bone-dry deserts. The highest mountains of the world called as "the Roof of the World". Pamir's territory is located at elevations from 3 500 to 4 200 meters above sea level. In addition, you will meet locals and learn more about their lifestyle. We are sure you will be impressed to travel here and get incredible holidays. Night is in a home stay.
Day 6: Langar
In the morning we will explore the Langar village and Wakhi people. It is best for hiking tour for about 2 hours above Langar village in order to see the petroglyphs. Here you will see the Hindu Kush range. Afterwards you will visit Abreshim Qala (Silk fort) and the memorial of Shoh Qambari Oftob. Overnight is in home stay.
Day 7: Langar - Yashil Kul Lake - Bulunkul Lake - Murgab
We are glad to present you the next day where you will visit the most beautiful lakes of the Pamirs are Yashil Kul and Bulunkul (Blue lakes), located on the altitude of 3 700 meters above sea level in the Murghab district. The color of water in Bulunkul is a delicate inter-play of violet and dark-blue in the sunlight. Here a lot of fish in the lake. In addition, you can see wild animals as yaks producing milk and meat products. On the way to the lake you will drive over Khargush pass of 4 344 m. Transfer to a guesthouse.
Day 8: Kyzyl Art border
