Tour summary:
Day 1: Ashgabat
Upon arrival you will start your Turkmenistan diamond 6 and be transferred to the Ashgabat for sightseeing. Here you will be able to explore such interesting places as parks and squares of the capital of Turkmenistan, Ertogrul Ghazi mosque, the archeological site "Old Nisa". Here you will see the famous remains of once prominent and influential ancient city. You will visit palaces, temples, ceremony hall, treasury building. Here you will see the similarities with Parthian civilization, what combined the traditional art and culture with Hellenistic and Roman elements. Then you will visit Turkmenbashy spiritual mosque in Gypchak. Arrival to Ashgabat and night is in a hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat - Kow-Ata - Nokhur - Balkanabat
In course of the tour you will travel to Kow Ata that is known to be underground Lake. Moreover it is interesting to note that the name of this place can be translated as Father of caves. You will be impressed by the cave that is resemble auditorium. The size of this cave 230 m in length, its height reaches 20 m, and its width is at some points 57 m. The bottom of the cave is covered with lumps of dissolved limestone (stalagmites) as well as emerald water the temperature of which is 33-37°C. Then you will be translated to the gloomy village Nokhur (120km - 2 /3 hours). You can find this village in the mountains of the Kopet Dag Range. During the tour you will see the building made of cement with mud. Here you will see only one main street and others that are so narrow that they only just fit a car between the high stone retaining walls on each side. The people of this village are different from the Turkmens. You can visit them in the mountainous border area of Turkmenistan and Iran. Nokhur is the largest village with just a thousand or maybe two thousand people. Upon arrival to Balkanabat night is in the hotel.
Day 3: Balkanabat - Yangykala - Gozli-Ata - Turkmenbashy - Awaza
Today you will travel to Yangykala that can be translated as the "fire fortresses". Many people what to see in tours the famous crimson beauty that appears at sunset. You will enjoy the view of sheer cliffs of white, yellow, ocher, purple and red colors, beautifully made by winds and rains. You will such amazing view that is resemble the view from fairy tale. Later on you will drive to "Gozli Ata" pilgrimage place and then to Turkmenbashy. On our way we'll look round tourist zone Awaza. Rest on the shore of the Caspian Sea. Spending a night in a hotel.
Day 4: Awaza - Ashgabat
Today you will have some time to enjoy the shore of the Caspian Sea. In the afternoon you will have a domestic flight to Ashgabat city. Upon arrival you will have a evening tour in After Ashgabat. Night is in a hotel.
Day 5: Flight
In the morning is transfer to the airport.
